Every Second Sunday at 7:30pm Eastern Time you can join in an online class to learn Irish Session tunes. Dolly will keep the pace slow to make it accessible to everyone. We want to bring more players into this delightful music form. I hope you will join in. To enroll simply visit our Patreon Page and choose the membership listed as "Slow Irish Tune Learning Zoom Class." If you change your mind, Patreon will let you discontinue your membership at any time.
Folks will gather at Ireland's Own this Saturday from 11am- 1pm to play Irish Session tunes together. This is an advanced beginner to intermediate session to learn and share tunes. Come join in or come for a listen. Ireland's Own is in West Ashley around the corner from Costco. Ireland's Own and Jaegerhaus Pub, 3025 Ashley Town Center Dr, Charleston, SC 29414
Catherine Kinder leads this group on the first Saturday of each month. But sometimes there is a conflict in scheduling so she has to more it to another Saturday. Typically three tunes (jigs, reels, or hornpipes) are played together to create a set of tunes. This group plays at an intermediate tempo. You will want to get on Catherine's email list because the meeting time occasionally has to be adjusted for other library events. Location: Dorchester Library, Ashley River Branch, 2824 Bacons Bridge Rd., Summerville, SC 29485.

I have not attended this jam yet due to my teaching schedule. I understand from others that the tunes are played at a fast pace. All levels are welcome and it is a good way to get a feeling of how a standard traditional Irish gathering flows. Felix C. Davis Community Center, 4800 Park Circle, North Charleston, SC 29405.
